Stars Morgan Freeman. Once the centre of Hollywood, the aging actor finds himself considering a role in a small independent movie. While doing research for the part, he stumbles into Scarlet, a spitfire checkout clerk at a Latino market. Soon abandoned by his driver, he relies on Scarlet to lead him back to his side of the tracks on a journey rich in self discovery and simple necessities of life.
